This philosophy has guided Dr. Betty Snyder’s life, from her work with individuals and groups, to her former role as the director and faculty member for the Center for Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management at Southern Methodist University, to her peace-building work throughout the world.
Betty Snyder’s passion for bringing out the best in people led her to earn a doctorate in psychology, focusing on healing individuals, communities and organizations. This passion brings people together to foster teamwork, collaboration and a sense of unity.

Dr. Snyder’s work transforms communication patterns and implements productive ways to overcome conflict and foster inclusion. She has delivered training programs and has facilitated trauma-informed peacebuilding practices internationally, serving a broad range of communities, organizations and industries.
